A behind-the-scenes support role helping keep the Lounge flowing during busy periods. Tasks include supporting reception & café flow, keeping spaces clean and reset, towel care, restocking, and light admin.

👉 Eligibility applies (ages 16–19, living in Wales, not in full-time education/employment).

From 1st December, all guests must enter their car registration at the main reception tablet within 20 minutes of arriving. Not doing so will result in a parking ticket, so please head straight inside on arrival. The timer starts as soon as you enter the car park.

A huge thank you for your patience while we temporarily closed our infrared sauna due to an unexpected emergency. We're incredibly grateful to @jenxplant and the legendary Phillip Leech, who rushed in, saved the day, and built us a solid, insulated replacement wall in place of the broken glass — all in just 2 days. 🙌

Sessions will be back to normal from Friday the 17th, and we can’t wait to welcome you back into the heat.

Not only has she been an absolute machine looking after clients with the kind of dedication that would put most to shame, but she’s also been our behind-the-scenes recycling squirrel 🐿️ – tackling laundry like a champ, sorting the bins without a second thought, and still managing to bring warmth, calm, and incredible care to everyone she treats.

AND if that wasn’t enough… she pulled off a mammoth back room clear out ahead of our upcoming launch party 🎉 – no easy feat, but she handled it with her usual quiet power and “let’s just get it done” energy.

🏒💨 Off-season doesn’t mean slowing down. Cardiff Devils Sam Duggan has shifted gears from recovery to performance — diving into our Altitude Training Program to prep for next season.

Already a regular in our ice bath and sauna during the season, Sam’s now levelling up with simulated high-altitude sprints, pushing limits and building endurance at elevation. ⛰️🔥

About The Wellness Lounge

The Wellness Lounge, situated in Wilcox House, Cardiff, CF11 0BA, is a state-of-the-art wellness and recovery spa.

We have four private lounges offering a variety of services.

Our two Massage Lounges offer sports, relaxing and therapeutic massages.

The Recovery Lounge is our amazing private spa, with a Cold Plunge, Full spectrum Infrared or Traditional Coal Sauna, Red light therapy panels, and Normatec Pressotherapy.

Our Therapy Lounge is a place for Oxygen therapy, with our Altitude therapy, exercise with oxygen therapy and seated oxygen therapy services.

We have now launched a public Sauna, ice bath and pressotherapy facility where you can book a session for an hour and share with others. The Contrast Therapy lounge hosts two large saunas, and three ice baths as well as pressotherapy stations.

Last but not least, we have a fantastic Coffee Lounge offering a variety of hot and cold drinks, speciality coffee, loose leaf tea and stunningly sourced Matcha and Chai as well as some delicious snacks.

We have recently moved from Global Link to Wilcox House and expanded our offering so keep up to date with all news and pictures!
